If you notice a thin film of oil on paper, or if oil foams around the port of exhaust, the tool is excessively lubricated. If you notice no oil, check the device immediately.

Air pressure – Each pneumatic tool needs a certain air volume at a certain pressure. Unbalanced air pressure results in damage. You can check for air leaks in the hose and around the air connections. Pneumatic tools should not be operated with less than 70 or above 100 psi.
